Dear diary; The Gig One
Hi guys 🙂
So sorry that this post is later than I planned but I’ve had such a busy weekend! I’m going to try writing out weekly diaries of what I’ve been doing and how I’ve been coping with it, let me know if you like posts like this and I’ll keep them coming 🙂
I started out my week sending an email to a local app creation company asking them if they’d be able to give me a ball park figure on how much it would cost to get my app created to go on the market. While they couldn’t give me one there and then (it all depends on how complex it is and what platforms & devices I want it to be available on) the lovely lady I was speaking to invited me to come into their office next week and talk about it with them. Truth be told I’m excited but nervous about this; excited because it’s a step towards getting my vision turned into reality, but I’m nervous because I don’t know where the office is and I struggle being out on my own.
I’ve also got an interview next week for a No7 consultant at Boots! When I first got the email inviting me for it I was so excited, finally I’d got one and at a company I love! I worked for them a few years ago at Christmas time and really enjoyed the experience, didn’t want to leave. Now it’s getting closer to the time I’m second guessing myself, wondering if I’ll be able to cope. However I’m going to be positive and just go for it 🙂
I’ve also been in Manchester Friday and Saturday to see Walking on Cars for the second time!! I saw them a few months ago in Liverpool and we’ve been lucky enough to get front town both times! 😀 they’re an up and coming Irish band; if you haven’t heard of them you seriously need to check them out! We had a bit of an incident with a woman; she was being verbally abusive towards us and some other girls that were queuing next to us and even spat at us, simply because I was wearing makeup and another lass was coughing…however apart from this it was one of the best nights I’ve had! Not going to lie I have no voice left from screaming/singing/shouting all night and I’m slightly deaf in my right ear but it was totally worth it- can’t wait to see them again!
Now I’m going spend my Sunday trying to recover (I was in bed by 10pm last night!) and get a bit of uni work done; my end of year show starts on the 21st and I’ve got to get everything ready by the 17th… and thats on top of all the other things I’ve got going on at the moment… *send coffee and chocolate please!*
Hope you’ve all had a good week!
See you next time
