So this is what happens when you have 45 minutes to wait until your train and need toothpaste…which I actually nearly forgot!
For some reason I’ve never tried any of the Superdrug own brand products but now I’m thinking I might need to buy the whole shop as I’m in love. This is only a small haul as I’m trying to avoid spending money at the moment but I am so happy that I treat myself to these products as all three have been game changing!
The three products I picked up were the B. Fan Brush, B. Makeup Brush Cleanser Spray and the Superdrug own brand Facial Cleansing Buffer. I’ve had them for nearly a week now so I think I can safely call this a review rather than a first impressions post, as I’ve had plenty of time to play with them.
So first off I’m going to start off with a brush that I’ve never owned before- a fan brush. I know a ton of people who can’t believe that I’ve never had one before but honestly i’ve never been one for highlighting until recently (thanks Jaclyn Hill!) so i’ve not needed one. I was unsure if they’d be as good as everyone says as i’d had a few recommendations for a different kind of, but more expensive, brush. Since i’m still a noob at all this I decided to opt for a less expensive option to start with and oh boy did I land a good one here!
The brush is so soft, the perfect size for me and my mini hands and so easy to use. It picks up product really well but at the same time doesn’t pick up too much and just dump it all on my face…pretty sure that’s not the technical term but I’ll roll with it.
I’ve not tried any of the other brushes in this collection so I can’t comment on those but if this one is anything to go by I will be investing in a lot more of them!
So originally I was very skeptical about this, it looks pretty cheap and tacky and didn’t think that it would replace my Bodyshop Exfoliator Mitts but for 90p I thought what the hell, might as well give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. While the quality isn’t the best you really can’t complain for the price and it does a great job!
I’ve struggled with my skin all my life and have recently been upping my skin care game (you can read my post about my routine here) and this has taken it a step further. Because the mitts are so rough I couldn’t used them every day, i’d have to limit it to two or three times a week or my skin would get irritated but this is soft enough to use every day! It gets rid of the dead skin I struggle with, makes my skin seriously smooth and also helps bring out the natural oils in my skin.
I’ve been using it every night for 6 days now and it’s still in really good condition, I’m not sure how long it will last (Update: It lasted 6 weeks of daily use!) but for less than £1 I think I can afford to replace them once a month!
Oh my days how have I coped without this product in my life!? I’m not even exaggerating, this stuff has made me actually look forward to cleaning my makeup brushes, it takes all the hassle and time out of it! All you have to do is spritz your brush with it and then scrub it on a tissue until it runs clear…that’s it. No waiting all day for it to dry and be able to use it again- my biggest brush took all of 10 minutes to dry and in all honesty I think thats because I used too much of the stuff.
It smells lovely and leaves your brushes feeling so soft afterwards! I think I might have to pick up a cheap face cloth just for doing this on as the tissues do tear up pretty easily. However it only took me around 10 minutes to wash all of my brushes and then another 10 minutes for them all to dry!
If you’re like me and hate washing your brushes I would defiantly recommend giving this a go- its quick, easy and actually kind of fun!
So there you go that’s my little Superdrug haul. Have you tried any of these products or do you have any you would recommend picking up? Let me know!

Like we need an excuse! 🙈😂 x
I put highlighter on everyday but I’ve never actually tried a fan brush! Really tempted to give this Superdrug one a go – it sounds pretty good for how inexpensive it is!
